Saeed Amen, Founder, Cuemacro

Saeed Amen is the founder of Cuemacro. Over the past decade, Saeed Amen has developed systematic trading strategies at major investment banks including Lehman Brothers and Nomura. Independently, he is also a systematic FX trader, running a proprietary trading book trading liquid G10 FX, since 2013. He is also the author of Trading Thalesians: What the ancient world can teach us about trading today (Palgrave Macmillan). He is also a co-founder of the Thalesians.

Tim Gaumer, CFA, Director of Fundamental Research, Thomson Reuters

Tim is the Director of Fundamental Research at Thomson Reuters. He held the same position at StarMine, a company acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2008.With more than 20 years of experience conducting fundamental analysis, Tim is widely regarded as an expert helping fundamental investors apply StarMine's innovative quantitative research in their investment process. Tim previously worked at several buy-side firms and independent research firms

Zac Sheffer, CEO & Founder, Elsen

Zac Sheffer is the CEO and founder of Elsen, the Platform-as-a- Service company for large financial institutions allowing anyone to effortlessly harness vast quantities of data to make better decisions and quickly solve the most complex problems.  Zac is a mechanical engineer with a passion for finance. He is an active member of the Boston startup community and is the recipient of the FinTech Sandbox 2016 - Give Back Award. Previously, Zac held various roles at Credit Suisse, APC by Schneider Electric and is the holder of several patents.

Austin Burkett, Global Head of Quant and Feeds at Thomson Reuters, has developed investment tools and financial data visualization products for over 10 years and have more than 15 years’ experience in equity research.

Prior to his role at Thomson Reuters, Austin was instrumental in forming EVA Dimensions’ investment research group, a business started in 2011. As Head of Equity Analytics, he managed the firm’s investor analytics offering, Investor Express. Drawing on his valuation and accounting experience, Austin advised investor clients on economic value added (EVA) and other aspects of the EVA framework.
